Head PGA Professional & Golf Operations Manager
Scott joined The Hertsmere in 2021; as Head PGA Professional and Golf Operations Manager. Scott leads a team of golf professionals delivering 1:2:1 tuition at the newly established golf academy at The Hertsmere golf facility in Hertfordshire.
Scott got into golf at an early age when his father and grandfather introduced him to the game. Scott has since built a successful career as a PGA coaching professional.
Playing to a high level as an amateur, Scott has worked with a number of prestigious golf clubs in the UK, and in Asia including The Grove and The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club, where Scott was part of the team that staged the UBS Hong Kong Open on the European and Asian golf tours. Scott also worked on major golf events in South Korea and China before returning to the UK In 2010 gaining his PGA degree qualification at the University of Birmingham.
Having coached on the US PGA tour, Scott has a reputation as a highly experienced golf coach for all levels of golfer from beginner to junior to elite professionals.
Working closely with the National Autistic Society, Scott created a golf coaching programme for its students. This coaching program helps students reach a level where they are able to visit the golf course on a weekly basis and further their skills and enjoyment of the game.
