From our challenging and beautifully landscaped 18-hole course to our sophisticated Script: Restaurant and Bar, every detail is fine-tuned to ensure an unparalleled golfing environment.

Practice Facilities

Visitors have full use of the clubs’ Toptracer 26 bay driving range, short game area and putting green located near the 1st tee. Range balls can be purchased at the reception desk or at the tap and go machine using any debit or credit card.

Tees of the Day

Visitors are permitted to play off White, Red and Yellow Tees.

Yardages/150 yards Marker

Yardages are stated at the start of each hole and can be found on scorecards, which can be picked up on the range.

Yardage disks can be found on the fairway highlighting the distance at 100, 150 and 200 yards.

On Course Toilet Facility

There are no toilet facilities on course, but the clubhouse has toilets on the ground floor on the right hand side as you walk down the corridor, where the 11th hole is the closest.

On course etiquette

Please help us maintain the condition of our golf course by raking all bunkers, repairing all pitch marks using a suitable pitchfork and replacing/repairing divots.

To ensure an enjoyable pace of play for all golfers, please keep up with the group in front at all times. Rounds for 4 ball golf should take no longer than 4 hours to complete.

Locker Rooms

Lockers are available for visitor use at no additional cost and can be found next to the toilets. These take a £1 coin for use. Please do not leave any items in there overnight.

Wi-Fi Code

There is no code needed for the Wi-Fi – you can simply connect to The Hertsmere – Free Wi-Fi.

Food and Beverage Times

Our popular Script: Restaurant and Bar is open from 7am daily (8am during winter months). Our kitchen normally closes at 6pm Saturday – Tuesday, but remains open until 9pm Wednesday – Friday . Please click here to view our menu options.

Food and drinks are available on the driving range during all opening hours via the QR code found on each individual bay. We will deliver your order directly to you.

During the weekend and busy days, we will also open our horse box (half way house) facility which is located near the 1st / 11th tee, where drinks and snacks are available. On top of this, on these days we will have a drinks buggy out on the course (weather permitting) to sell cold alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and snacks.
